Primula vialii is a very impressive plant, upright bold-shaped, Producing dramatic spikes of scarlet which open from the base into beautiful violet purple in the early and midsummer months. It’s perfect for growing in a partially shaded or tree line borders, especially in poor drained soil. It works well when planted among ferns and hostas. It can also be planted at the ponds edge – make sure the soil stays moist.
