Liatris Spicata.& beautiful hardy perennial showering excellent displays of classy long plumes of fluffy purple flowers in summer months. The foliage is attractive with Narrow, grassy leaves reaching up to 3 ft. Liatris prefer full sun but will grow in partial shade. They are not too particular about soil types but prefer not to be planted in soil that is very wet.
